West London Zone does important, impactful work improving the lives of children and young people in West London, but challenges remain around identifying the children that need the most support and understanding how best to engage with families and increase home learning. They asked us: in what ways might better insights about children and families help West London Zone’s support to be more effective?
We’re working in partnership with Dartington Service Design Lab to understand the data that is currently collected about children and families. Through interviews with Link Workers, Managers and West London Zone’s Head of Impact, as well as parents, speech and language therapists and teachers, we’re learning about what works about the programme, as well as finding the opportunities for innovation and improvement.
We will be using this to design a pilot that tests a way to use data and insights about families to increase the programme’s impact.
