Josie is the latest addition to the Innovation team. In her role as Innovation Designer, she is responsible for developing compelling products for Shift (and its partners) that deliver sustainable social impact. This starts with identifying and defining the initial problem, and follows a human-centred research process to create, prototype and implement possible solutions.
Josie’s background is in the cultural sector. She started her career as a researcher for social history documentaries before moving into the world of tech, partnering with museums, galleries and publishing houses to create educational apps. Before joining Shift she spent five years developing digital products with the likes of Faber & Faber, The Innocence Project, the BBC, Tate and the British Library.
Josie used to have a pet pig and would like to get another.
