Wow, this is a crazy couple of months for the Shift US team! Here are some places we’ll be and things we’re doing:
- Bergis will be in Portland, Grinnell College (Iowa), and Austin as part of Documenting the Now workshops this summer. You can apply to bring a workshop to your community for 2020.
- May 17-18. Hali will be leading an equity design retreat together with the Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center: Culture Lab Cooperative in New Orleans
- May 21. Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center debuts Elevator Pitch, a new “musical house” art installation at Music Box Village, New Orleans. Free, but RSVPs recommended
- May 25. Lynette will be leading a community memory workshop for the Manitos Digital Resolana project in New Mexico
- Jon will be speaking in Australia and New Zealand from May 25 – June 15
- May 31, Brisbane. State Library of Queensland Heritage Leaders Workshop
- June 3, Sydney. State Library of New South Wales. 3-4:30pm. Free Registration.
- June 6, Melbourne. Melbourne Museum
- June 12, Wellington. National Library of New Zealand. 5:30-7pm. Free Registration.
- June 14, Auckland. Auckland Museum
