  1. Great talk Tori. Loved the examples of the power of advertising and using it for good not evil.

    I liked the good old days when “If you ride ALONE you ride with Hitler” was Ok. Refreshing honesty.

    More seriously, who should decide what is actually good for people?

    1. Good point. At Shift, our starting point is always specific social, environmental and health issues that are shown to have a detrimental effect on people’s quality of life, the strength of local communities or the physical environment. We look at what behaviours effect these issues and select these as the ones to shift. We try to always take an evidence based approach. But the question of who should decide what is actually good is a moral one, and not uncontroversial. Thanks for your feedback!
